Outside the wind rustles past the leaves on the trees,

As the sun dips behind a cloud,

Shadows appear upon the wall,

Deceived by my eyes shadows appear,

Fear arises in my throat,

Someone else in the room?

I do not know,

Afraid to look,

Afraid of what to find,

Soon courage evolves to see,

Brave I will be,

As I turn to look, to see,

Alone in the room I am,

Alone, alone I laugh,

Why fear?

Why turn to look?

No one else in the room with me,

Only shadows show upon the wall,

Only shadows,

Only shadows…..
